Medcross offers both out-patient and in-patient services at our hospital. we have got an obsessive team of Specialist Ophthalmologists, nursing staff, administrative staff, and support staff to form sure that every one of our patients receives the proper treatment. 24 hours emergency services function on all days throughout the year at our Main Hospital at Lusaka Zambia. relying on the character of the problems, patients are diagnosed and treated as outpatients. However, if the treatment requires special procedures, patients are advised of the facilities available and are prepared suitably. we've various sub-specialties like cataract, cornea, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, squint and pediatric ophthalmology, retina, uvea, orbit & oculoplastic, ocular oncology, and refractive surgery. We even have an Optometry Department in-tuned lens and low vision clinic, computer vision check services that go an extended way in administering comprehensive eye care “for every patient” all under one roof. One person is allowed to stay with the patient in the hospital. for kids below 12 years / physically handicapped patients, are allowed, two attendants. we offer state-of-the-art facilities and operation theatres equipped with the most recent equipment and trained dedicated personnel. Trained ophthalmic nursing assistants provide 24 hours of medical aid. Our in-patient services are fully supported by a drug counter and canteen facilities for the patients also as their attendants.
